Meet Jessica
Jessica is originally from Florida and has lived in East Tennessee the past 15 years. She is currently working on her master's degree in Biology at East Tennessee State University with plans to attend vet school in 2025. She has had the opportunity to work on several research projects with pollinators, sharks and rays, spiders, and bats.
When not spending time in the lab or working, Jessica enjoys scuba diving, wildlife photography, traveling to new places, reading, and horseback riding. She has two dogs, Hershey and Nilla, and a pet tarantula named Charlotte.

I've been snorkeling with whale sharks.
I was deeply touched with the care, love, compassion and dedication the hospital staff showed to Roxie. Really not only to her but to me as well. A special recognition to Dr. Maness, Dr. Sims, Curtis Davis and Sydney. The whole staff is amazing and I highly recommend Oakwell Animal Hospital! And by the way, Roxie is doing great!
