Meet Dr. Rachel Maness
Dr. Maness was born in Miami, Florida, and moved to Tennessee to pursue her dreams of becoming a veterinarian. She enrolled at the University of Tennessee where she completed her Bachelor's degree and graduated from veterinary school. Throughout her time spent here, she quickly fell in love with the location and decided to make East Tennessee her forever home.
Right out of vet school, she worked with both large and small animals which has helped create the well-rounded approach she brings to her patients now. Her hobbies include spending time with her husband, Gunner, and her 3 cats (Blue, Mango, and Merlin), reading, gaming, and exploring new areas through traveling. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, and is excited to meet you and your beloved critters.

Oakwell was able to see us same day and Dr. Maness provided great care both for our cat and for us. Explained options and was up front with costs prior to running any tests. Very impressed.Matthew Deitel
